Language Settings
RouteBot Mobile supports multiple languages. This guide explains how to change the app's language to your preference.
Supported Languages
The app currently supports:
| Language | Name in App |
|---|---|
| Turkish | Türkçe (Turkish) |
| English | İngilizce (English) |
Automatic Language Selection
When you first log in, the app automatically sets your language:
| Your Country | Default Language |
|---|---|
| Turkey | Turkish |
| Other countries | English |
This is based on the country code you selected during login.
Changing the Language
To change the app language:
- Go to the Settings tab (gear icon)
- Tap Change Language (Dil Ayarları)
- A language menu expands
- Tap your preferred language:
- Turkish (Türkçe) for Turkish
- English (İngilizce) for English
- The app will update to the selected language
What Changes
When you change the language:
Interface Elements
- Navigation tab labels
- Button text
- Menu items
- Screen titles
- Alert messages

- Confirmation dialogs
- Error messages
- Status indicators
- Help text
Content That Stays the Same
Some content doesn't change:
- Route names (set by your provider)
- Driver names
- School/company names
- Phone numbers
- Custom text from your provider
Language Indicator
In the language selection menu:
- A checkmark (✓) appears next to the current language
- This helps you know which language is active
After Changing Language
When you select a new language:
- The app refreshes its interface
- All screens update to the new language
- You stay on the Settings screen
- Future sessions use the new language
No Need to Restart
The language change takes effect immediately without restarting the app.
Language Persistence
Your language choice is saved:
- Stored locally on your device
- Persists between app sessions
- Remains after closing and reopening
- Only changes when you manually switch
Per-Device Setting
The language setting is:
- Specific to each device
- Not synced across devices
- Set independently on phone and tablet
If you use multiple devices, set language on each one.
Bilingual Display
Some elements show both languages:
- Change Language (Dil Ayarları) - Shows both for accessibility
- Turkish (Türkçe) - Shows English and Turkish names
- English (İngilizce) - Shows English and Turkish names
This helps users find the setting regardless of current language.
Interface Differences
Some screens may look slightly different between languages:
- Turkish text may be longer or shorter
- Layout adjusts for text length
- Functionality remains identical
Troubleshooting
"Language didn't change"
- Ensure you tapped on the language option (not just expanded the menu)
- Try selecting the language again
- Close and reopen the app if needed

- Additional languages may be added in future updates
- Contact support to request additional languages

- After logout, a new login may reset to default
- Simply change the language again in Settings
